Release Day is finally here!!

3 Men & A Mountain is available online, in person, and in stores!!

Check out the 'Products page' for information as to where you can get your own copies of the book.
The eBook and hardcover are available at Barnes & Noble, and eBook, Hardcover, and paperback are on Amazon. Hardcover and Paperback will also be available at local book shops too! I'll be hitting the road next week to deliver titles to a bunch of places throughout Central Wisconsin and hopefully beyond! First starting with The Story Cellar and Room of Words bookshops in Wausau, Wisconsin!

Look at those boxes full of copies! I ordered 80 hardcovers and 50 paperbacks for the road trips I will be taking to bookstores! I have a pretty packed November, and I am pretty stoked to chronicle the journey from now to then. I will share plenty of the trials and successes of this journey, but for now it is all rose-coloured glasses and excitement!
I will not divulge too much about headaches with printing and shipping issues in writing today's post, because let us face it: this is a HUGE DAY! My first book is OFFICIALLY RELEASED! HOWEVER, the last few weeks have made me a nervous wreck!

There are two possible paths upcoming for us. One, maybe I have overestimated the amount of books needed for such an event. It is possible I might be surrounded by stacks of my own book now and will be out a whole lot of money, (which is most likely). Or two, I will find an audience for such a silly story about three foolish friends that get high with Bigfoot in the mountains. Maybe this is just the beginning and I will be ordering more copies before November's book tour ends! That would be super cool, right? Well, a man can dream, can he not?

Another part of this journey that I never prepared for was how the quality of printing depends on where your books come from. If I had to recommend anything to anyone out there ordering copies online, please do so from Barnes & Noble, at least in terms of the hardcover copies. The quality is head and shoulders better than the competition. For in-person purchases from bookstores, you will always have top quality. Just look at these images of the spine itself. The overall quality of buying prints from places like Ingram and Barnes & Noble is hard to describe in pictures, but oh my god, they really are far superior both visually and in texture.
I am not sure I will ever get over the fact that a silly daydream of mine has turned into an actual work of fiction with a real ISBN number (well, three in total!). It does not even feel real! Just yesterday I was dropping off copies at Room of Words bookstore and I had a pinch myself moment where I kind of felt like... "Was I dreaming?" My book explores a lot about the personal growth of one's self and getting older, along with drifting friendships getting smashed back together in the face of survival.

While I wrote this story, I pictured my closest friends from my current life and my past as the characters interacting with each other. I had instances where I asked myself how they would respond to situations like this. Parts of it made me laugh, and certain parts even felt therapeutic. Like, I learned a little bit about myself while writing. Hearing the feedback from my beta readers and proofreaders was also a moving experience. I honestly loved hearing about parts that people did not like, as it made me grow a bit as a writer.
I am honestly not sure if I will ever become some kind of award winning writer or ever entertain more than a handful of people, but I am having fun with this, and as long as I am enjoying myself, I will continue to write!
